 Job Summary

To independently perform routine troubleshooting, maintenance, and minor repairs on refrigeration systems, while supporting senior technicians in advanced service activities.

Key Responsibilities

Executive / Technical Tasks

Intermediate Refrigeration Knowledge

Apply refrigeration principles to perform basic system checks and fault diagnosis.

Understand Freon and Ammonia refrigerants, their properties, and environmental standards.

Preventive Maintenance

Inspect mechanical and electrical components for wear.

Clean condensers and evaporators, replace filters and driers.

System Diagnostics

Use tools like pressure gauges, multimeters, and thermometers for basic diagnostics.

Check and recharge refrigerant levels (Freon & Ammonia) under supervision.

Minor Repairs

Replace parts like fan motors, valves, and thermostats.

Repair minor refrigerant leaks and test system performance after repair.

Documentation and Reporting

Record refrigerant use, part replacements, and system performance.

Report recurring issues or customer complaints to supervisors.

Safety and Training Compliance

Participate in safety training (refrigerant handling, electrical safety).

Adhere to PPE and company safety protocols.

Internal: Technicians and service supervisors

 Qualifications

 Education

Diploma in HVAC or Refrigeration Systems

Experience

Minimum: 2 years in a similar role

Certificates / License

Valid Driving License

Intermediate understanding of refrigeration cycles

Familiarity with pressure-temperature relationships of Freon

Proficiency with diagnostic tools

Basic troubleshooting and repair skills

Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment
