Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

Responsible for performing testing of electrical assets using in-house resources and ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality service delivery. The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing service jobs while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct testing, inspection, and troubleshooting of electrical assets.
  • Coordinate and manage service jobs using internal resources.
  • Ensure all testing activities meet industry standards, safety protocols, and client requirements.
  • Prepare detailed service reports and documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement of testing methodologies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of service projects.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers/technicians as needed.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of electrical testing procedures, tools, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with testing of transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, protection systems, and other electrical utility equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple service assignments.
  • Good communication and customer-handling skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical).
  • Minimum 5 7 years of experience in leading and managing service jobs related to utility electrical assets.
