A Service Engineer is a vital role that involves the installation, maintenance, and servicing of equipment and machinery. Service Engineers are expected to travel often, providing on-site service, conducting training sessions, and ensuring that customers are educated in the use of equipment and systems. This role demands not only technical skills but also the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


Responsibilities
  • Install and configure equipment and machinery for client operations.
  • Diagnose and repair faults, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
  • Perform regular maintenance checks, ensuring equipment functions optimally.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users.
  • Document service and inspection reports accurately and timely.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and order replacements as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and resolve client needs.
  • Stay updated with industry advancements and technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards at all times.
  • Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations on complicated issues.
  • Develop and implement strategies for service improvement and client satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience as a Service Engineer or related technical position.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electronic equipment maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for conveying technical information to clients.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work on-site at different client locations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks.
