Job Description

As a Service Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring top-notch customer satisfaction through the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of technical equipment and systems. This role demands a blend of technical acumen and strong communication skills, as you will not only resolve complex technical issues but also liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice. You will often work on-site, thus a readiness to travel is essential. Your efforts will directly contribute to the continuous improvement of our service processes and quality. Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and commission equipment according to company standards and client requirements.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks and servicing on various technical systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures and issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients both on-site and remotely.
  • Prepare detailed service reports and documents after completing service tasks.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve service procedures.
  • Train and educate clients on the proper operation and care of their equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and factors during service operations.
  • Respond promptly to service calls and work flexible hours when necessary.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of new products and industry developments.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with clients by delivering superior service.
  • Identify and escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate departments or personnel.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar service engineering role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Willingness to travel extensively as required by client demands.
  • Good understanding of safety and quality standards in technical services.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
