Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair UPS systems (1 300 kVA) down to component level.
Troubleshoot and repair:
SMPS circuits
Power Switching Circuits
Protection & Feedback Circuits
Power Conversion Stages
Rectifier and Inverter Sections
Charger Circuits & DC Bus Issues
Perform PCB repairs using hot air stations, soldering tools, and rework equipment.
Use Oscilloscope and advanced electronic testing instruments
(LCR Meter, ESR Meter, Component Tester, DC Power Supply)br>for UPS diagnostic and board repair tasks.
Lead root-cause analysis for recurring failures.
Support and mentor junior technicians.
Develop and implement SOPs and quality control guidelines.
Document repair steps, test results, and device history.
Coordinate with customer service regarding unit feedback and performance records./p>

Working Hours
Sunday Thursday
9 AM 6 PM
Mostly workshop-based with occasional site visits./p>

Desired Candidate Profile

Mandatory Requirements

Technical Requirements
Minimum 3 5 years haands-on UPS repair experience.
Strong understanding of Power Electronics, including:
SMPS
Rectifier & Inverter Stages
Charger Circuits
Power Switching & Conversion Circuits
DC Bus Analysis
Protection & Feedback Loops
Experience in PCB Repair (SMD/TH components, track repair).
Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
Professional usage of Oscilloscope for waveform analysis.

Soft Skills
Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
Team leadership & mentoring ability.
Clear communication and reporting.
Ability to work under pressure and meet technical targets.
