Roles & Responsibilities

Analyze and study the plans and descriptions drawn up by the managers of a construction project.
Estimate and calculate the needs of a construction according to its characteristics, the requirements and the contingencies of the building.
To proceed, under the supervision of an engineer, to the development of the calculation notes of the beams, floor, slab, columns, wall and foundation.
Study the superstructure plans (formwork plan and reinforcement of beams, columns, stairs and floor).
Study infrastructure plans (sills, foundations, footings, rafts and slabs.)
Compile the execution file.
D Define the programme of works.
Assemble a team and give them the necessary instructions at each stage of the construction.
Order materials, tools and machines.
Monitor the progress of the work and ensure that it is carried out in accordance with the contract.
To control the progress schedules of the work and the respect of the deadlines and the budget committed.
Ensure the administrative follow-up of the site.
Ensure that safety measures are applied on the construction site.
Monitor the condition of the equipment and its maintenance.
