Roles & Responsibilities

We are hiring for Meinhardt group Egypt branch and we are looking forward to hire a Senior Technical Architect with BIM experience to support the process of our regional and international projects..

We are looking for Technical & BIM users experienced architects to work on C.D. up to D.D.

Job Type: Full time.

location: New Cairo

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and technical development of complex architectural projects from concept through completion.
  • Assist in preparation of D.D documents etc L.O.D 300.
  • Develop and review detailed construction documents, specifications, and technical drawings.
  • Lead plan review to ensure coordination between disciplines, including civil, structural, architectural, MEP, pool, VT, FLS and landscape architecture.
  • Provide expert guidance on material selection, building systems, and sustainable design practices.
  • Lead design validation and reviews with counterparts and authorities permits, as needed.
  • Manage changes in project scope, potential risks and contingency plans, as needed.
  • Prepare periodic project progress reports, raising major issues to the Director.
  • Develop scope baseline, detailed work breakdown structures, project activities and critical path charts for building design projects of high complexity.
  • Provide input on project procurement needs, including external specialty suppliers, as needed.
  • Lead internal and external project kick-off meetings and ensure stakeholders are aligned.
  • Strong experience and track record in managing large and complex/mixed-use building design projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirement

  • UAE / KSA Experience is a must
  • UAE building codes and High-rise experience is preferred
  • Technical / BIM experience is a must
  • 10 - 12 years of experience from top tier Consultant firms with similar experience is a must ( Dar Al-handasah , Atkinsrealis, ECG, Diar Etc. ).
  • Excellent communication and management skills.
  • Professional experience in architectural design and technical project delivery.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective team leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
  • Commitment to sustainable design and innovative building solutions.
  • Ability to work onsite and collaborate within an office environment.
