Roles & Responsibilities

About the Role:

  • PSdigital company is seeking a Senior System Administrator / IT Specialist (4+ years experience) to manage, secure, and optimize our IT infrastructure. The role includes system administration, cloud and network management, security operations, and advanced technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

System & Infrastructure Administration

  • Install, configure, test, and maintain Windows operating systems, servers, and enterprise applications.
  • Monitor and manage installed systems, network components, and cloud/hybrid infrastructure.
  • Perform system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, user accounts, and permissions.

Security & Risk Management :

  • Maintain and enhance security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
  • Conduct continuous vulnerability assessments and risk mitigation.
  • Manage endpoint protection, firewalls, and security policies.
  • Design and implement incident response plans and escalation processes.

Cloud, Virtualization & Automation :

  • Manage Microsoft Azure resources, cloud configurations, and data security.
  • Support cloud migrations and hybrid environment operations.
  • Work with virtualization and containerization tools (VMware, Hyper-V, Docker).
  • Automate tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
  • Implement automation tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual work.

Networking & Connectivity :

  • Manage and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
  • Ensure high levels of system and network uptime and performance.
  • Support remote server management and secure connectivity.

Support & Documentation :

  • Provide L2/L3 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Maintain IT documentation, system diagrams, configurations, and asset inventory.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external service providers.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements :

  • 4 € 6+ years of experience in system administration or IT infrastructure roles.
  • Strong experience with Windows Server environments and enterprise systems.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure, cloud architecture, and data security solutions.
  • Experience with virtualization and containerization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Docker).
  • Strong understanding of networking, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and OSI/TCP-IP layers.
  • Experience creating automation scripts and using infrastructure tools.
  • Experience with endpoint security, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Familiarity with application stack administration and performance tuning.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • High stress tolerance and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Desire for continuous learning and professional development.
