Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Tagaddod is at the forefront of promoting sustainable waste management and recycling solutions. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sustainability Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing, implementing, and sustaining our environmental initiatives, ensuring that we continue to make a positive impact on the environment and our communities.
Responsibilities
1. Data Collection & Reporting
- Gather, organize, and validate environmental data (energy, water, waste,
emissions) from all functions, warehouses, and plants to support ESG reporting.
- Prepare sustainability reports for CDP, SBTi, ISO 14064, B Corp
certification, and other ESG disclosures.
- Maintain structured databases, ensure data accuracy, and generate insights for
internal and external reporting.
- Apply strong technical and analytical reporting skills to draft professional
reports, assessments, and policy recommendations.
2. GHG Accounting & Climate Action
- Conduct GHG emissions calculations using carbon accounting tools (e.g.,
GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, Life Cycle Assessment).
- Identify and support emission reduction initiatives (e.g., energy efficiency, waste
reduction, circular economy).
- Analyze sustainability data to benchmark performance and recommend
improvement opportunities.
3. Compliance & Audits
- Ensure daily operations comply with ISCC (International Sustainability and
Carbon Certification) and other ESG standards.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation for internal/external sustainability audits
(ISCC, ISO 14001, B Corp, etc.).
- Assist in implementing ISO 14001 and other sustainability-related ISO standards
across facilities.
4. Resource Efficiency & Implementation Support
- Participate in resource efficiency projects (energy, water, waste) in plants and
warehouses.
- Support the rollout of sustainability initiatives (e.g., renewable energy, waste
management, green procurement).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track KPIs and drive continuous
improvement.
5. Team Collaboration & Communication
- Work with operations, supply chain, and EHS teams to collect and verify
sustainability data.
- Prepare visual reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and
stakeholders.
- Leverage strong analytical and reporting skills to communicate findings
effectively.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, or a related role.
- knowledge of carbon accounting (GHG Protocol), SBTi, and ESG
- frameworks (GRI,SASB, TCFD, etc.).
- Strong Excel/data analysis skills (pivot tables, formulas, data visualization).
- Familiarity with ISO 14001, ISCC, B Corp, or other sustainability certifications is a plus.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks and ESG reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in sustainability reporting tools and software.
