Senior Supervisor -Fabrication Goltens Co. Ltd. Dubai Branch

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of fabricators, welders, and fitters. This includes assigning daily tasks, managing schedules, and conducting performance evaluations. They're also responsible for training new employees and fostering a positive, productive work environment.
• Technical Oversight and Quality Control: Ensure all fabrication work, from cutting and fitting to welding, meets project specifications and quality standards. They must have a deep understanding of blueprints, technical drawings, and relevant industry codes (e.g., AWS, ASME). They're the go-to person for troubleshooting complex technical issues and ensuring the team's work is flawless.
• Project and Resource Management: Plan and coordinate all fabrication activities to meet project deadlines. This involves managing the allocation of manpower, materials, and equipment. They'll also be responsible for tracking project progress, monitoring budgets, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to all safety regulations and company policies. This includes conducting regular safety briefings, performing risk assessments, and ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). A senior supervisor is a champion of a strong safety culture.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity. This can involve introducing new techniques, optimizing workflows, and maintaining equipment.
