Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the on-site structural engineering team, ensuring work adheres to project specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.

· Manage the day-to-day structural activities on-site, coordinating with contractors and subcontractors to achieve project milestones.

· Conduct regular inspections of structural elements, including foundations, columns, beams, and slabs, ensuring they meet project and regulatory standards.

· Implement and maintain quality control measures for materials and workmanship, preventing defects and ensuring structural integrity.

· Conduct additional structural calculations and provide technical guidance to ensure construction methods are safe and compliant.

· Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to align structural activities with overall project goals and timelines.

· Facilitate clear communication between stakeholders, addressing structural concerns and clarifying technical details to maintain workflow efficiency.

· Provides input to the monthly progress report as directed by the Resident Engineer.

· Maintain detailed site documentation, including daily reports, inspection records, and non-compliance reports, for project tracking and audit purposes.

· Ensure all on-site structural activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

· Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.

· Minimum 15+ years of experience in Structural Engineering projects related to buildings/ Infrastructure/airport.

· Strong understanding of building systems, codes, and regulations.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
