Senior Structural Engineer Trojan Construction Group – SP LLC

Work Experience:

· Minimum 15 years of experience in structural design and construction within a main contracting or multidisciplinary firm.

· Minimum 10 years’ experience in the UAE

· Strong knowledge of international and local design codes, including ACI, ASCE, AISC, , and UAE regulations (e.g., ADBC).

· Proven experience in the design of reinforced concrete, post-tensioned, precast, and structural steel systems.

· General understanding of foundation and soil-retaining systems, sufficient for coordination with geotechnical consultants and construction teams.

Job Description:

The Senior Structural Engineer is responsible for delivering safe, economical, and code-compliant structural solutions on site, while coordinating closely with other disciplines. The role supports the execution of RC, post-tensioned, precast, and structural steel works, addressing constructability issues and providing technical support from design development through construction and handover.

Site Engineering Responsibilities

· Coordinate all structural activities with other project disciplines on site.

· Review and approve structural submittals from vendors and subcontractors.

· Support and coordinate the site structural team in preparing shop drawings, BBS, method statements, and technical submittals.

· Independently perform design, detailing, and review tasks when required to meet project demands.

· Liaise with the Consultant and Client representatives on all site-related structural matters.

· Prepare structural designs, shop drawings, and technical submissions as needed to support construction.

· Mentor and guide junior engineers to ensure technical quality and professional development.

Constructability & Problem-Solving

• Resolve day-to-day construction site challenges involving RC detailing, precast installation tolerances, slab openings, podium transitions, and soft-soil adaptation.
• Advise on structural alternatives to accelerate construction while maintaining safety margins and quality.
• Drive early coordination with architectural, MEP, and envelope teams to resolve conflicts related to load-bearing walls, risers, and post-tension zones.
