Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Experience: 10–15 years

  • Lead structural design and review for RC and steel structures
  • Review calculations, drawings, and shop drawings
  • Ensure compliance with international and local codes
  • Coordinate with Architecture, MEP, and site teams
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve site issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • 10–15 years relevant experience (UAE/GCC preferred)
  • Proficient in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000 or similar
  • Lead the design and analysis of complex structural systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop innovative and efficient structural solutions.
  • Strong technical and coordination skills

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in structural engineering, preferably in building and infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with advanced modeling software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or Revit is essential.
  • Strong understanding of local and international building codes and regulations applicable to structural design.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget, demonstrating strong project management skills.
