Senior Specialist - Logistics Centers

Job Responsibilities:

• Receiving Operations: Oversee all aspects of receiving operations, including unloading, sorting, and processing inbound shipments.
• Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of received shipments, including updating inventory systems and generating receiving reports.
• Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the receiving operators, fostering a culture of efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
• Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to address receiving-related issues, coordinate deliveries, and resolve discrepancies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as inventory control, warehouse management, purchasing, transportation, and quality control to streamline receiving processes and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to receiving, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement changes to enhance the efficiency of receiving operations.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory requirements in the receiving area.
