Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial consolidation processes for all entities within the group, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures that ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the entire group, ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness.
  • Review, analyze, and validate financial information from subsidiary companies, ensuring complete accuracy.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during annual audit cycles and resolve audit inquiries efficiently.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing critical financial insights and analysis.
  • Monitor compliance with financial controls and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Train and guide finance teams across different entities on best accounting practices and policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in group or corporate accounting roles.
  • Deep understanding of international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and principles of accounting.
  • Experience with financial consolidation and reporting practices in a corporate environment.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a meticulous focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
