Roles & Responsibilities


Job Purpose

  • Solution Manager being a strong solution architect
  • designing secure communication solutions through discussing with customer,
    • understanding the customer requirements and proactively comes with a first level solution architecture with different use case scenarios
      • that can not only fulfil the present needs but also forward looking and futuristic
  • and the solution that is focused on safeguarding the national interests of all security minded customers e.g defense, Government, National security agencies, Oil and gas etc.
  • working hand in hand with sales in supporting business development and business growth.

Key Responisbilities

  • Expertise and Experience in Conceptualizing and further architecting the solution clearly depicting the value proposition
  • Be a presales with the perspective of solution understanding, articulating and presenting to the customers.
  • Attend all customers meetings accompanying sales to support in fueling the business development and Revenue growth
  • Identify relevant technology partners including internal (KATIM) as well external (EDGE group entities and third party vendors)
  • Plug and Play different products, software, hardware technologies, API plugins into a solution that can value add to the customer
  • Discussing and story telling the solution the way it enables in harmonizing across different divisions, Engineering, CTO and Professional services team
  • Hand over the high-level Solution architecture to the team to further engineering towards GA
  • Continually supporting throughout the process
  • Be the lead in organizing and supporting the RFIs, RFPs especially focusing on solution that fulfills the requirements and related components
  • Continue to engage with the vendors in organizing the NDAs, related technical discussions
  • Providing the high level costing where appropriate and required.

Educatiion - Graduate in Engineering preferably specialized in Telecom/Computer Science or equivalent

Minimum Work Experience 15+ years in designing secure communications solutions for defense, government and large infra enterprises.

Skills/Certifications (Technical & Non-Technical)

  • Expert knowledge of networking, encryption, satellite, wireless, and other relevant technologies
  • Familiarity with naval systems, military technologies, airborne communications etc.
  • Experience leading technical sales teams supporting business development efforts
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate complex solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strategic mindset along with technical depth to lead solution engineering
  • Willingness to travel frequently to client locations
  • Certifications relating to Solution architecting in the area of Secure Communications, IP Networking, Cloud Computing, AWS, Azure, Wireless Comm, AI in security, IoT, Blockchain etc.
