Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and enterprise applications to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Collaborate closely with software development teams to understand requirements, design test strategies, and integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of functional, regression, integration, and performance testing activities.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and work with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
- Establish and enforce best practices for test automation frameworks, tools, and processes.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in automation techniques and quality standards.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend new automation tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Document test cases, procedures, and results to ensure traceability and compliance with quality standards.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of software development and testing processes.
- Ensure all deliverables meet the company s quality objectives and client expectations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of professional experience in software quality control, quality assurance, or software testing.
- experience in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work arrangement, balancing remote and onsite collaboration.
- Exceptional communication skills for cross-functional teamwork and reporting.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
