Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Things you will do

• Contribute to the design, build, and operation of ZEDEDA s global cloud and on-premise (including air-gapped) infrastructure.
• Support 24/7 operations of ZEDEDA s SaaS service and customer on-premise deployments with a focus on scalability, resilience, and innovation.
• Solve highly complex, unique problems and provide meaningful contributions to company-wide objectives.
• Collaborate product strategy, architecture, and feature development by collaborating with engineering and product teams.
• Share knowledge and best practices across the organization to elevate engineering excellence.
• Maintain cross-functional communication with ZEDEDA teams.
• Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement of operational processes.
• Participate in and improve the on-call rotation.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years supporting large-scale, distributed installations.
• Broad expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Kafka, AWS, and Azure.
• Experience operating hybrid environments across cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
• Deep hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
• Strong Python programming skills and the ability to build automation at scale.
• Experience contributing to technical vision and driving infrastructure strategy.
• Strong expertise in SRE practices, with the ability to support and guide peers when needed.
• Strong communication skills: articulate, collaborative, and effective with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience working and collaborating with a distributed SRE and Engineering team.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and driven by outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Background in Open Source Software Development.
• Industry recognition or contributions to open-source communities.
