About the ClientOur client, a leading Virtual Asset Service Provider, is seeking a Senior Manager, Risk to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:Manage credit and counterparty exposures across clients, borrowers, and OTC participants, ensuring thorough assessment and ongoing monitoring.Build and maintain risk policies, frameworks, and limits that reflect the firm s appetite and operational priorities.Track and control market risk for proprietary positions, client flows, lending, and structured products, applying quantitative metrics and scenario analysis.Prepare regular risk reports, review P&L and exposure trends, and provide actionable insights to trading and treasury teams.Collaborate with Product, Legal, and Business teams to embed risk considerations into new offerings and improve risk reporting through automation.Represent the risk function in internal committees and regulatory discussions, promoting transparency, governance, and compliance.
Requirements:8+ years of experience in credit, counterparty, or market risk within financial services, with exposure to digital or alternative assets preferred.Strong understanding of OTC trading, brokerage operations, lending products, collateral management, and margining practices.Hands-on experience developing risk models and frameworks (credit scoring, VaR, stress tests) and producing regulatory/compliance reports.Familiarity with Dubai VASP regulations (VARA) or international virtual asset regulatory frameworks is desirable.
