Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct cutting-edge research in mechatronics and robotics to support ongoing industrial projects.

Drive innovation in the development of industrial applications.

Provide practical implementation support for KRE8+ projects requiring sensor integration, including: Mechanical design, electronic design CAD and CAM, Integration and testing

Advise and support faculty on best practices in mechatronics and robotics.

Propose meaningful and relevant sophomore project topics for HCT students, specifically in robotics.

Leadership Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of academic course materials in mechatronics and robotics.

Support the academic development of UAE Nationals in an effective and impactful manner.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

PhD (preferred) or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechatronics or a related field from a recognized university.

Advanced expertise in relevant modelling and simulation software.

Demonstrated innovative mindset.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of industry experience in developing smart systems and automation solutions. Strong proficiency in 3D modeling, CAM, and simulation software.

Practical experience with 3D printing, PLC programming, pneumatics, robotics, and mechanical systems.

Full proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking); Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Proven ability to lead and mentor teams in research and development.

Experience collaborating with both industry and research organizations.
