Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor project budgets, cost/value control systems, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Prepare and submit interim valuations, payment applications, and final accounts.
  • Administer contracts in line with international and local standards (FIDIC Red/Yellow Book).
  • Identify, assess, and value variations, new rates, and change orders.
  • Provide accurate financial reporting, cost/value management, and input on project performance.
  • Support resolution of contractual/commercial issues including claims and disputes.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
  • Mentor and support junior QS team members.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with strong exposure to infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record in large-scale projects (roads, utilities, drainage, bridges, metro, or airports).
  • UAE experience is highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge of local market rates, suppliers, and regulatory requirements.
  • Professional membership (MRICS or equivalent) preferred but not mandatory.
  • In-depth knowledge of infrastructure construction and cost/value management.
  • Strong expertise in FIDIC contracts and UAE procurement/contracting laws.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software (Candy, CCS, CostX, Excel, ERP systems).
  • Strong cost/value reporting and presentation skills to senior management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a methodical approach.
