Senior Quantity Surveyor

Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and review detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
Monitor project costs against budget and identify potential cost savings.
Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to ensure fair pricing and timely delivery of materials.
Provide regular reports on project progress and cost variances to the management team.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in relation to cost control.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
Minimum of 13 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the construction industry
Strong knowledge of construction cost estimation and management
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Proficient in using project management software and tools
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
