Senior Quantity Surveyor – Facades

Role Overview:

The Senior Quantity Surveyor – Facades will be responsible for overseeing the commercial management of façade projects across pre- and post-contract stages. The role involves cost estimation, contract administration, variation management, and cost control, while ensuring strong coordination with clients, consultants, and internal project teams. The candidate will also guide junior QS staff and support management in commercial strategy and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Contract Estimation

• Lead preparation of accurate cost estimates by analyzing drawings, specifications, and vendor quotations.
• Provide pricing, benchmarking, and value engineering support specific to façade scope.
• Review and validate tender submissions with detailed cost breakdowns and commercial clarifications.

Post-Contract Management

• Manage preparation and evaluation of variations, claims, and contractual correspondence.
• Conduct valuation of completed works and certify subcontractor/client payments.
• Act as key commercial contact for client coordination from contract award to final account.

Cost Control & Monitoring

• Prepare cost value reconciliation (CVR) reports and forecasts.
• Monitor project budgets, margins, and financial risks.
• Present progress and financial performance reports to senior management.

Commercial & Technical Coordination

• Lead contract administration, supply chain documentation, and subcontract management.
• Provide both technical and commercial guidance to ensure project delivery within budget and timelines.
• Mentor and support junior QS team members.
