Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive test strategies, plans, and execution across multiple projects.
  • Design, develop, and maintain manual and automated test cases and frameworks.
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical documents, providing early feedback on quality risks and feasibility.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, usability, performance, and API testing.
  • Identify, log, prioritize, and manage defects to resolution with the development team.
  • Prepare and present detailed test reports to stakeholders.
  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines for faster, reliable releases.
  • Set up and maintain test environments, ensuring readiness for execution.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.
  • Mentor and support junior QA/QC team members, sharing best practices and guiding growth.
  • Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance/control, with 2+ years in a senior or lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (functional, regression, performance, exploratory).
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
  • Experience with API testing (Postman, REST, GraphQL).
  • Familiarity with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling).
  • Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and using version control (Git).
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Java, C#, TypeScript, or Python).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
  • Nice-to-Have (Plus)
  • Hardware testing experience.
  • Knowledge of security testing basics (e.g., OWASP, vulnerability scanning).
  • Hands-on experience with AI-powered QA tools such as:
  • Testim / Mabl / Functionize (AI-driven test automation).
  • Applitools (AI-powered visual regression testing).
  • ChatGPT / Claude / Copilot (for test case generation, documentation, and bug reproduction support).
  • Katalon with AI features for smart object recognition and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with cloud testing platforms (e.g., LambdaTest, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
