The Snr QA/QC Engineer is responsible for the quality levels of shop and field work for tankage activities related to API 650 & 620.

Responsibilities. • Supervise and monitor several QC Inspectors at the project • Prepare and Implement Project Quality Plan • Prepare Quality Procedures aligned with client specifications and standards. • Prepare Inspection and Test Plan • Prepare Review QC Inspection Reports • Interpret construction and technical drawings. • Communicate engineering/technical/quality requirement to the team • Verify that incoming materials meet the requirement • Acts as an internal independent party for the verification of quality welds and ensure that incoming materials meet with specifications. • Perform Inspection at shop and field worksites • Manage subcontractors works according to the approved procedures and ITP • Liaise with NDT contractors for both shop and field NDT activities • Oversee the galvanizing, insulation and painting activities for the project scope • Liaise with subcontractors, third-party inspector for all the inspection and reports • Follow-up on corrective action of non-conforming products. • Prepare and compile inspection reports, non-conformance reports and other quality control. • Implement and monitor proper storage, handling and usage of equipment. • Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports as per the KPI and project requirements. • Prepare and Review test packages. • Attend internal and client meetings. Generate QA/QC minutes of meeting. • Manage Non-Conformances (if any) and ensure closure of the finding. • Maintain records for Lesson Learned. • Coordinate with vendors on inspection activities for the materials procured for the project as per the approved ITP. • Participate and Coordinate any Internal Audits, Client Audits and External Audits.
