Key Responsibilities:

QA Process Ownership:

• Design, write, and execute comprehensive test plans for new features and existing applications across web, desktop, and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand feature goals and define clear test coverage that encompasses core functionality, edge cases, and usability.
• Think critically about edge cases and reliability, ensuring issues are raised early in the development cycle and that fixes are validated quickly.

Automated Testing & Maintenance:

• Write and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium, ensuring the tests are clean, efficient, and maintainable.
• Leverage tools like Cursor and GitHub Copilot to speed up and improve test development, optimizing test coverage for regression testing and edge cases.
• Ensure the tests are scalable and can be executed across different environments and platforms, contributing to robust and comprehensive test suites.

Performance, Security, & Stability Testing:

• Conduct load testing, performance benchmarking, and security testing to ensure applications scale properly and meet reliability standards.
• Collaborate with developers to implement improvements based on test results, ensuring that products are robust, secure, and efficient across various environments, including AWS and GCP.
• Test across web, mobile, and desktop platforms, ensuring cross-platform compatibility and consistent performance.

Collaboration & Reporting:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers, to ensure smooth integration of testing efforts into the development process.
• Write clear, detailed bug reports and communicate testing progress, findings, and issues to the team in a concise and actionable manner.
• Contribute to process improvements, continuously identifying opportunities to streamline testing and enhance overall product quality.
