Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites
    • Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines
    • Create and execute comprehensive test plans for web, mobile, and API testing
    • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
    • Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution
    • Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code reviews for test automation scripts
    • Participate in requirement analysis and provide quality-focused input during planning
    • Establish and maintain testing best practices and standards

Desired Candidate Profile

    • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance
    • 2+ years of hands-on test automation experience
    • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
    • 5+ years of professional QA experience
    • Previous experience in a senior or lead QA role preferred
    • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript)
    • Experience with test automation frameworks & tools (Robot Framework, Playwright, Pytest, Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or similar)
    • Strong knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia, or similar)
    • Experience with CI/CD tools (Github Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
    • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC
    • Experience with version control systems (Git)
    • Knowledge of database testing and SQL queries

Preferred:

    • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
    • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
    • Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
    • Mobile testing experience (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)
    • Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
    • Knowledge of security testing principles
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
    • Proactive approach to identifying and solving quality issues
    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
