Roles & Responsibilities
WSP in the Middle East is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager (Rail) to join our team in Riyadh, KSA. This is a client-facing role, based at the client's office and requires excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will bring 15+ years of experience, particularly in rail infrastructure and design and will provide project management support across all phases of project delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of major rail projects from start to finish.
Serve as the main point of contact for the client, ensuring effective communication and relationship management.
Manage project planning, scheduling and execution.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and high-quality design outcomes.
Provide strategic and technical oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards and client expectations.
Lead and coordinate engineering teams, ensuring integrated design delivery.
Support the design team with technical input across all project stages-from concept to implementation.
Engage with project stakeholders and authorities to support the development of the project and obtain the necessary NOCs
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture or a related field.
Minimum of 15 years' experience in project management, with a focus on rail projects.
Strong client-facing experience, ideally within a consultancy or design-led environment.
In-depth knowledge of rail design.
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in design-focused roles with the ability to guide and review design work.
Proven track record of successfully delivering
