Position Objective

• The Senior Project Lead will spearhead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale fiber rollout projects for a leading telecommunications company.
• This role is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while driving strategic objectives, fostering stakeholder collaboration, and promoting operational excellence in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Job Description and Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of fiber rollout projects, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, procurement, and external vendors, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Oversee the deployment of fiber optic infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders, presenting detailed reports on project status, milestones, and key performance indicators.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within project teams.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes and drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, with at least 10 years in telecommunications and fiber optic rollout projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex projects in a telecommunications environment.
• In-depth knowledge of fiber optic network design, deployment, and testing processes.
• Strong understanding of telecom industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing third-party vendors and contractors.
