Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Orchestrate daily production schedules, ensuring alignment with company goals and proactively addressing bottlenecks to maintain peak efficiency.
- Lead and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a collaborative environment and providing constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee the implementation and adherence to stringent quality control measures, guaranteeing products meet or exceed established standards.
- Analyze production data, identify areas for optimization, and implement strategies to reduce waste and enhance overall productivity.
- Manage and maintain production equipment, coordinating maintenance schedules and promptly resolving any operational issues to minimize downtime.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe and secure working environment for all personnel.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and supply chain, to streamline processes and improve overall production workflow.
- Develop and maintain accurate production reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing regular updates to senior management.
- Manage inventory levels and material usage, optimizing resource allocation and minimizing waste to control production costs effectively.
- Champion and implement continuous improvement initiatives, driving innovation and promoting a culture of operational excellence within the production department.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in production principles.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Exhibits a deep understanding of industry-specific manufacturing processes, relevant to the company's products and operations.
- Exhibits strong technical skills in production planning, scheduling, and equipment operation, showcasing practical expertise.
- Demonstrates proficiency in using production management software and data analysis tools, indicating strong analytical abilities.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with all levels of the organization.
- Exhibits strong leadership and team-building abilities, capable of motivating and guiding a diverse team to achieve production goals.
- Shows exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, able to quickly assess and resolve production challenges.
- Displays a proactive and results-oriented approach, with a proven track record of driving continuous improvement and achieving production targets.
