Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes for herbal infusions.
- Develop, implement, and optimize production workflows to maximize output and maintain product quality.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for equipment malfunctions and process deviations, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain to achieve production targets.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the production facility.
- Prepare and maintain detailed production reports, documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Support the introduction of new technologies and machinery to enhance production capabilities.
- Participate in audits and certification processes to uphold industry standards and company certifications.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in mechanical, industrial, or production engineering
- 5-7 years of proven experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role, preferably within the food, beverage, or herbal products industry.
- Strong understanding of production processes, machinery, and automation systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on process optimization.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
- Ability to work onsite and adapt to changing production demands.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus.
