Roles & Responsibilities

Your expertise in commercial procurement will be crucial in optimizing supplier negotiations, managing relationships, and establishing best practices for procurement reporting and analytics. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure transparency and effectiveness in procurement operations across various projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that focus on commercial outcomes and enhance reporting processes.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure the best possible contracts and terms.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of procurement activities, providing insights that influence strategic decisions.
  • Manage procurement performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and establish benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with project teams to define procurement needs and align with project timelines.
  • Foster strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to drive collaboration and innovation.
  • Oversee the compliance of procurement activities with all relevant policies and regulations.
  • Mentor and train procurement team members to enhance their skills and ensure alignment with company objectives.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a senior manager or leadership role.
  • Solid experience in construction procurement.
  • Extensive experience in commercial procurement processes and reporting methodologies.
  • Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and supplier management.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in procurement software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and market trends relevant to procurement activities.
