Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Negotiations with suppliers/subcontractors to reach the best agreement with the highest quality of the local and international suppliers with the lowest price possible to meet client s expectations and to comply projects specifications.
  • Collect the quotations and make a comparison sheet / breakdowns ' if applicable' to select the best suppliers and subcontractors that will meet the company's needs.
  • Execute the procurement plan, make sure all project deliverables are on time, and comply with project specs.
  • Prepares technical data, drawings, and specs to send an RFQ to suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Receives purchase / Service requests from operations and suggests possible alternatives, or directly issues purchase orders to corresponding suppliers and subcontractors in case of no objection.
  • Following up on the P.O/ sub-contract status, starting from the P.O. signing until the ordered material is delivered to our warehouses and approved by the inspection committee.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing suppliers/ sub-contractors through business units feedback.
  • Provide supported documents on approvals for project materials and subcontractors submittals.
  • Manage the Negotiation Rounds with selected vendors.
  • Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum years of experience: 5 years of experience in the same Department
