Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard planning tools.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather project requirements and milestones.
- Monitor project progress, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports, forecasts, and schedule updates to management and clients.
- Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.
- Integrate resource allocation and cost control measures into project schedules.
- Lead planning meetings and workshops to align project teams on objectives and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Support tendering processes by preparing baseline schedules and resource histograms.
- Continuously improve planning processes and tools to enhance project delivery efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of proven experience in project planning within the construction industry.
- Expertise in using planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective stakeholder coordination.
- Experience in preparing and interpreting project reports and schedules.
- Knowledge of risk management and cost control principles.
- Ability to work on-site in an office-based environment as required.
