Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project goals and contractual obligations.
  • Conduct critical path analysis and risk assessments to identify potential delays and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
  • Lead the preparation and review of progress reports, providing accurate and timely updates to stakeholders on project performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, construction, and procurement teams to integrate project plans and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Manage and control project budgets by monitoring costs, analyzing variances, and forecasting expenditures.
  • Prepare and present schedule updates and recovery plans to project management and clients, highlighting key milestones and potential issues.
  • Review and analyze contractor schedules, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and project specifications.
  • Provide expert planning and scheduling advice to project teams, offering guidance on best practices and industry standards.
  • Support the preparation of change orders and claims, providing schedule-related analysis and justification.
  • Continuously improve planning processes and tools, identifying opportunities for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Holds a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in infrastructure project planning and scheduling.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in using Primavera P6 scheduling software, with experience in complex projects.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequences, and best practices.
  • Has experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, such as roads, bridges, and utilities.
  • Demonstrates excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, enabling effective project planning.
  • Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Is capable of preparing and delivering clear and concise presentations to various stakeholders.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as PMP or PMI-SP is a plus.
  • Displays a proactive and results-oriented approach, with a commitment to meeting project deadlines and objectives.
