Roles & Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities


  • Sales Planning & Forecasting: Develop annual, monthly, and daily revenue plans; collaborate with buyers; adjust forecasts based on performance and market trends.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate KPI reports (sales, stock, GM, ASP, Sell-Thru, Stock Cover); conduct post-season analysis; prepare region-wise review presentations.
  • Inventory Management: Allocation & replenishment strategies; monitor stock levels; manage aged inventory; plan seasonal trends; coordinate sourcing and warehouse for timely delivery.
  • Range & Assortment Planning: Create merchandise assortment plans; ensure balanced range mix; analyze category performance for optimal product selection.
  • Budgeting & Financial Planning: Manage Open-to-Buy (OTB); develop Annual Operating Plans; align purchases with forecasts; analyze profitability metrics (GM, ROI).
  • Markdown & Promotion Planning: Design markdown and promotional strategies; coordinate with merchandising and marketing to boost sales while maintaining margins.
