Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare and review piping layouts, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings using AVEVA E3D.
- Develop piping designs across FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design phases, ensuring seamless project transitions.
- Ensure designs meet international codes, project specifications, and HSE standards.
- Coordinate effectively with process, mechanical, civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers; resolve complex piping and layout issues.
- Participate in multidisciplinary reviews (3D model reviews, HAZOP, constructability, and design reviews).
- Support preparation of Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and other engineering deliverables required during FEED and Detailed Design.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to clarify technical queries and align design deliverables.
Desired Candidate Profile
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
- 8+ years of piping design experience in the Engineering phase of onshore oil and gas projects.
- Strong expertise in AVEVA E3D (mandatory).
- Proven experience working on FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design projects.
- Sound knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, API, ANSI, etc.).
- Excellent cross-discipline coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet tight schedules and deliverables with high accuracy.
