Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Trade Processing & Confirmation
- Execute and validate derivatives trades including Interest Rate Swaps, Options, Futures, TARF, and Commodity Derivatives.
- Confirm trades with counterparties and clients, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Resolve trade discrepancies in coordination with Front Office and counterparties.
Settlement & Reconciliation
- Oversee settlement processes for derivatives transactions, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Reconcile positions and balances against internal GL and external systems (e.g., FIS).
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks efficiently.
Risk & Compliance Management
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Monitor operational risks and implement controls to mitigate errors.
- Support audits and regulatory reporting related to the derivatives desk.
Process Improvement & Projects
- Drive process enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Participate in automation initiatives, UAT, and system upgrades.
- Maintain process documentation and support training of junior staff.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. ACI Operations Certification is an added advantage.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Treasury Operations, with a strong focus on derivatives processing.
Industry Exposure: Experience in banking, financial services, or corporate treasury environments with exposure to derivative instruments and regulatory frameworks.
Customer Focus: Committed to delivering accurate and timely service aligned with Mission Zero standards.
Analytical Thinking: Advanced Excel skills and strong problem-solving capabilities.
Project Management: Proven ability to lead and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Data Analysis: Ability to interpret performance metrics and identify trends.
Learning & Development: Passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
