Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly skilled Next.js Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong experience building modern full-stack web applications with TypeScript and is comfortable working across backend and frontend layers.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain complex web applications using Next.js (App Router) with TypeScript.
- Implement APIs and business logic with tRPC and Server Actions.
- Design and optimize database schemas using Drizzle ORM and Kysely (SQL Server).
- Develop secure and scalable authentication/authorization flows with Better Auth.
- Implement efficient data fetching and state management using React Query (TanStack Query).
- Build advanced, performant data grids and tables using TanStack Table.
- Create and customize UI with Shadcn UI and Tailwind CSS (including custom tokens and themes).
- Validate inputs and enforce strong runtime typing with Zod and related libraries.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with strong attention to performance and security.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Next.js with TypeScript.
- Proven experience with:
- tRPC
- Server Actions (Next.js 13/14)
- Drizzle ORM
- Kysely with SQL Server
- Better Auth
- React Query + TanStack Table
- Shadcn UI
- Zod and related validation tools
- Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL, and query optimization.
- Experience building dynamic, data-intensive apps (CRUD, filters, dashboards, etc.).
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and agile development.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Nice to Have
- Experience developing mobile applications with Expo.
- Knowledge of system design and performance optimization.
- Experience integrating with external APIs and third-party services.
- Familiarity with Docker and cloud deployment environments.
