Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform daily network monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all WAN connections, routers, switches, WLC, IP telephony, all its key passive, power, and conditioning.
  • Reviewing network and telephony logs and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
  • On-site supervision and reporting to the project manager.
  • Perform schedule backups configurations for all network devices.
  • Ensuring all required IOSs and configuration data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media and location and ensuring it has been sent off-site as necessary.
  • Perform regular recovery tests to ensure successful procedures are in place. Also, perform active/standby tests monthly to ensure online standby unit readiness in case of active failures.
  • Handle with the vendor the replacement of hardware failure cases.
  • Periodic Upgrade for updated IOS.
  • Perform periodic performance reporting to his manager.
  • Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
  • Experience of 3-6 years in a similar field.
  • CCNA R&S or equivalent is a must.
  • CCNP R&S or equivalent is a plus.
  • configuring and troubleshooting network devices including routers, switches, access points, and IP phones.
  • VOIP hands-on experience
  • Very good English Commands.
  • On-site Supervision for network infrastructure projects.
