Roles & Responsibilities

Desired Candidate Profile

Operations:
Monitor and analyze security alerts, incidents, and events to identify potential issues and security threats
Coordinate incident response activities with internal and external teams and ensure timely resolution of all incidents
Provide administration and support, ensure standard practices, install/configure/customize applications and hardware like Switches, routers, patch panels, firewalls, IPS and load balancers
Implement, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including VOIP, LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of network services and resources, including routers, switches, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Monitor network performance and traffic patterns, identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to understand technical requirements and develop network solutions that support business objectives.
Execute network infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and expansions, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
Provide technical expertise and support to resolve network-related incidents and escalations, including after-hours support as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans and manage the overall threat and risk exposure of Azure setup to an acceptable level. All in compliance with the corporate security policy, legal, compliance or regulatory requirements making sure remediation of all reported security vulnerabilities are implemented within a pre-agreed timeframe
Collaboration:
Collaborate in IT audits, vulnerability and threat assessments, and directing responses to concerned team members
Work closely with other IT teams to ensure a secure design and deployment of new technologies is in place
