Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Main missions
As a Senior Network Administrator , you are a key link in the management, security and development of network infrastructures, both internally and at our customers' sites.
You will work on:
- Network infrastructure administration:
- Management and optimization of network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers)
- Network monitoring LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi and telecoms
- Configuring security policies and access control
- Maintenance & support:
- Level 2/3 incident monitoring and coordination with support teams
- Writing and updating of technical documentation
- Participation in supporting technical projects (deployment of new network architectures, migrations, security audits)
- Technological monitoring & security:
- Monitoring network security best practices
- Participation in internal/external audits on the network part
- Suggestions for continuous improvement of performance and security
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
Training:
- Bac+3 Bac+5 in Networks & Telecommunications, IT or equivalent.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in network administration, ideally in a software IT environment.
Technical skills:
- Excellent mastery of network technologies: TCP/IP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, DNS, DHCP
- Very good knowledge of equipment: Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto
- Experience with monitoring tools: Zabbix
- Good foundation in network security (firewalling, IDS/IPS, VPN)
- Knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash) appreciated
- Mastery of the cloud environment (AWS, Azure) is a plus
