Roles & Responsibilities

  • Network and Security Responsibilities
  • Network Management: Design, configure, and maintain the company's network using Cisco routers, L2/L3 switches, and WLC 9800. Manage VLANs, VPNs, and static routing.
  • Security Administration: Manage Sophos firewalls, including NAT and security policies. Deploy and maintain Cisco ISE, IDS/IPS, and WAF.
  • Endpoint Security: Use Trend Micro "Vision ONE" to monitor and secure endpoints and servers.
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Act as a subject matter expert for complex LAN/WAN issues. Use network monitoring tools to find and fix problems, and work with other teams to resolve issues.
  • Compliance: Ensure all network and security solutions follow industry best practices and compliance standards.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for network configurations and security procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

Technical Requirements:

  1. Networking Expertise:
    • In-depth knowledge of Cisco routing and switching.
    • Hands-on experience with Cisco L2, L3 switches.
    • Hands-on experience with Cisco ISE,
    • Hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless solution (WLC 9800).
    • VPN, VLAN, Static routing, DHCP, Port security, Mac address mapping.
  2. Security & Compliance:
    • Firewall configuration (Sophos firewalls).
    • IDS/IPS, NAC, WAF, IPsec and network monitoring tools.
    • Hands-on experience with Trend Micro Vision ONE endpoint/server security.
  3. Certifications (Preferred):
    • CCNA (required), CCNP (a plus).
  4. Additional Skills:
    • Troubleshooting complex LAN/WAN issues.
