Senior Manager – Tagging Thangals Jewellery LLC

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Tagging with extensive knowledge of SKU creation, tagging, and barcoding in the jewellery field. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in managing tagging operations for gold, diamond, and jewellery products, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth inventory flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage end-to-end tagging and barcoding operations for jewellery items
• Create, maintain, and control SKU structures for gold, diamond jewellery
• Ensure accuracy of weight, purity, stone details, pricing, and product codes on tags
• Coordinate with production, inventory, and sales teams for seamless tagging workflow
• Monitor tagging staff performance and ensure adherence to company standards
• Implement and maintain tagging SOPs and internal controls
• Ensure compliance with legal, hallmarking, and company tagging standards
• Conduct regular audits and reconciliations between physical stock and system data
• Handle tagging for new designs, repairs, exchanges, and returns
• Troubleshoot SKU or tagging discrepancies and implement corrective actions

Requirements & Skills:

• Proven experience 3- 4 years as a Tagging Manager / Senior Tagging Manager in the jewellery industry
• Strong knowledge of SKU generation, barcode systems, and inventory software
• In-depth understanding of gold purity, diamond grading, gemstones, and jewellery classifications
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
• Strong team management and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Good computer skills (ERP, Excel, inventory systems)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma / bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Experience in wholesale Jewellery operations is an added advantage
