Roles & Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs is a leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing regulatory compliance and strategies within an organization. They play a critical role in ensuring that the organization operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. The Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs collaborates with cross-functional teams, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders to navigate complex regulatory landscapes, assess the impact of regulations, and develop strategies to maintain compliance and achieve regulatory objectives.

  1. Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Regulatory Affairs, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a relevant scientific discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications in regulatory affairs are preferred.
  2. Proven experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, or a related role, with a track record of successfully managing regulatory compliance in a regulated industry.
  3. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, laws, and industry standards relevant to the organization's sector (e.g., healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, consumer goods, etc.).


  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive regulatory affairs strategy aligned with the organization's goals and regulatory requirements.
  2. Monitor, interpret, and communicate changes in regulations, laws, and industry standards that may impact the organization's operations.
  3. Assess the impact of regulatory changes on the organization's products, services, and processes, and recommend appropriate actions.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that products, labeling, advertising, and promotional materials comply with regulatory requirements.
  5. Prepare and submit regulatory filings, applications, and reports to regulatory authorities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  6. Manage interactions and communications with regulatory agencies, addressing inquiries, providing requested information, and resolving compliance issues.
  7. Conduct regulatory assessments and audits to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement in regulatory compliance.
  8. Develop and implement regulatory training programs to educate employees on relevant regulations and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  9. Participate in regulatory advocacy activities, representing the organization's interests and influencing regulatory developments.
  10. Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging regulatory issues, and provide guidance to senior management on potential impacts and opportunities.
