Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage an ISO 27001-compliant ISMS.
  • Develop and enforce information security and data privacy policies in line with CBUAE & UAE Data Privacy Law.
  • Monitor and oversee data protection, consumer complaints, and regulatory reporting.
  • Advise senior management on risks and security posture.
  • Lead training and awareness programs for employees and consumers.
  • Respond to and manage security incidents and breaches.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 8–13 years of experience in information security, data privacy, or regulatory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Data Privacy Law & CBUAE regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with ISO 27001 ISMS implementation.
  • Recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CIPP.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Information Security & Data Privacy Governance Officer (DPO) to join our Risk & Compliance team. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with Central Bank of UAE regulations, UAE Data Privacy Law, and global best practices in information security and consumer data protection.

As DPO, you will lead the implementation of ISO 27001 ISMS, oversee data governance frameworks, respond to regulatory queries, and build a strong culture of security and privacy across the organization.
