Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The role requires expertise in managing financial transactions across UAE and Guinea, handling trade finance instruments (LCs, Bank Guarantees), and deep knowledge of UAE corporate tax laws, particularly regarding free zone exemptions, international tax planning, and transfer pricing.

The ideal candidate should have a strategic commercial mindset and strong experience in managing external
audits, ESR compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, and financial reporting standards.

Financial Management & Reporting

Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
Ensure efficient cash flow management and working capital optimization.
Implement cost control measures and financial policies to enhance profitability.
Ensure financial compliance with UAE and Guinea regulations

Manage and negotiate Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank Guarantees (BGs), and other trade finance
instruments for international transactions.

Develop strong banking relationships to ensure smooth financial transactions and credit facilities.
Assess and manage foreign exchange risks, international payments, and financial hedging strategies.
Ensure efficient fund flow management between UAE and Guinea operations.

Develop tax strategies to optimize tax liabilities for free zone operations, ensuring maximum exemptions where applicable.

Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax regulations, focusing on businesses with transactions mainly
outside UAE.

Handle corporate tax filing, VAT compliance, and liaise with tax authorities when required.
Work with tax consultants and legal teams to ensure compliance with UAE and international tax laws.
Oversee transfer pricing compliance and documentation, ensuring fair pricing in related-party
transactions to avoid tax liabilities.

Lead and manage external audits for financials, ensuring compliance with UAE and international
accounting standards (IFRS).

Oversee compliance reporting, including Economic Substance Regulation (ESR), UAE AML laws, and
corporate governance frameworks.

Desired Candidate Profile

• CA or equivalent qualification

• 10+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in a multinational or trade-intensive business, electricity transmission projects, trading (automobiles & spares), or international finance

• Experience in external audit management and compliance reporting (ESR, AML, KYC, IFRS, etc.)

• Hands-on experience in handling financial operations across multiple countries.

• Strategic financial planning & business acumen.

• Expertise in UAE free zone tax exemptions & corporate tax strategies.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including liaising with banks, auditors, and tax authorities.

• Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and compliance tools.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset
