Within the Nearshore teams of Devoteam Morocco, you will join the DevOps & Automation tribe: an enthusiastic and expert team in the integration, deployment, administration and observability of Kubernetes container orchestration solutions on Hybrid (Rancher, OpenShift, Tanzu) & Multi Cloud (AKS, EKS, GKE) platforms.

You will be the essential link for:

• Deploy and configure a Kubernetes cluster: the etcd service, the master and worker nodes, setting up secure communication between them, managing certificates, integrating a container registry, configuring basic components (CNI, CRI, Storage Class, Cluster Roles, etc.) and security (hardening)
• Automate their deployment using appropriate tools: kubeadm, kops (EKS, GKE), kubespray (VM, bare metal) and tools from Kubernetes distributions such as Rancher and Openshift
• Allocate and manage cluster resources, such as CPU, memory, storage, to ensure optimal application performance
• Use Kubernetes objects such as deployments, services, and pods to deploy and manage containerized applications in the cluster
• Scale by dynamically adjusting the number of application replicas based on load to ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Manage cluster, node, and application updates seamlessly while ensuring continuous availability
• Implement security practices: role and authorization management (RBAC), configuration of network security policies and secrets management.
• Implement monitoring tools to track cluster performance, detect errors and failures, and collect metrics for analysis (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Implement backup mechanisms for application data and cluster configuration elements, as well as recovery procedures in the event of a failure.
• Collect and analyze container and cluster component logs for troubleshooting and security
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, adjust configurations, and optimize overall cluster performance
• Diagnose and resolve cluster, application, and container issues
• Plan and implement scalability strategies to accommodate increasing workloads
• Enroll in a DevSecOps approach to manage code versions, create, store and scan container images and automate the deployment of components and applications by adopting GitOps.
