Roles & Responsibilities

Experience:


Hands on experience in Control & Instrumentation Systems trouble shooting, Programming / Configuration experience in the PLC / SCADA systems, Basic Networking, Working knowledge on instruments such as Flow, Temperature, Pressure, level transmitters and control valve actuators. /configuration experience in FactoryTalk/Fix SCADA systems will be an added advantage.


  • Assisted Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance and simple repairs on C&I equipment, such as sensors, transmitters, and gauges, under the guidance of a senior technician.
  • Data Collection: Conduct regular readings and data logging from instruments to monitor system performance.
  • Basic Troubleshooting: Assist in diagnosing and resolving straightforward faults or issues with control systems and instrumentation.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and work orders.
  • Safety Adherence: Strictly follow all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Independently diagnose and repair complex failures in SCADA, PLC, and DCS systems.
  • Calibration & Tuning: Perform advanced calibration and tuning of instruments to ensure accuracy and optimize process control.
  • System Upgrades: Lead and execute the installation, testing, and commissioning of new control systems and equipment.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, training, and supervision to junior technicians.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and a root cause analysis for failures.
