Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Management
- Maintain and monitor all hardware and software systems including servers, workstations, printers, and network devices.
- Ensure reliable internet connectivity and secure network access across all venues.
- Manage system updates, backups, and antivirus protection.
User Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide technical support to staff across departments and venues.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Train staff on basic IT procedures and system usage when necessary.
POS & Hospitality Systems Support
- Maintain and support Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and ensure integration with reporting tools.
- Coordinate with vendors for system upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Ensure smooth operation of reservation, inventory, and guest management systems.
Security & Compliance
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to protect company data and systems.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal IT policies.
- Manage user access controls and permissions.
Asset & Vendor Management
- Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Coordinate with external IT service providers and vendors for procurement and support.
- Assist in evaluating and recommending new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Prepare regular reports on system performance, incidents, and IT-related expenditures.
Key Job Tasks:
- Install and configure hardware and software.
- Monitor system performance and resolve issues proactively.
- Support remote access and mobile device management.
- Manage email systems and cloud-based tools.
- Assist in setting up AV equipment for meetings and events.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
2 4 years of experience in IT support or systems administration, preferably in hospitality or F&B.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS environments, networking, and cloud platforms.
Experience with POS systems and hospitality software (e.g., Oracle, Micros, etc.) is a plus.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Flexibility to support venues during evenings, weekends, or events as needed.
